Theme: A Real Education and Mini-Lessons

Introduction
 
 Student teaching or teaching practice is a supervised instructional experience; usually the culminating course in a university or college undergraduate education or graduate school program leading to teacher education and certification.
 
Today, students will be introduced to two new teaching experiences led by Andy Mancusi-Ungaro, Audrey Lopes, Erin Rodberg & Gabriel Montero.

  • Understand the dynamics of teaching a dance/movement lesson
  • Explain the different parts of a lesson plan in written form
  • Gain an awareness of the importance of the creative method
  • Experience the creative method through teaching a dance/movement lesson
